1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Cloakly (“Cloakly”, “we”, “us”), the operator of getcloakly.com, uses cookies and similar technologies, why we use them, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage and tracking pixels, do the same kind of job. Some are needed for a site to work; others help a site's owner understand how it is used or measure advertising. “First-party” cookies are set by us. “Third-party” cookies are set by another company whose tool runs on our site. “Session” cookies disappear when you close your browser; “persistent” cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. In this policy, “cookies” includes all of these technologies.
3. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work, such as signing in and checkout. These are always on, and we do not need your consent for them.
- Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Off unless you allow them.
- Marketing. Help us measure and improve our advertising on other platforms. Off unless you allow them.
Analytics and marketing cookies are never set, and their scripts are never loaded, until you give consent. Your consent is the legal basis for them, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before.

Durations are those set by the provider and may change. Third parties may receive your IP address, browser details, and the pages you view, and handle that data under their own privacy notices: Google and Meta.
5. Error monitoring
We use Sentry to find and fix errors. It collects technical information about errors and page performance, and for some sessions records a replay of the page to help us reproduce a problem. This is used only to keep the site working, and Sentry processes the data on our behalf.
6. Managing your choices
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you reject all optional cookies, accept all of them, or open Preferences to switch each category on or off. Optional categories are off until you turn them on, and the site works the same either way. To review or change your choices at any time, or use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. If you turn a category off, we delete the cookies of that category that we can reach and stop loading its tools.
You can also control cookies through your browser:
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
- Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics, and Meta lets you manage ad preferences in your Facebook ad settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change the tools we use or when the law changes. If a change adds a new category of cookies, we will ask for your consent again before using it.
8. Contact us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, email hello@getcloakly.com. More information about us is on our Seller Information page.
