Performance issues
What to do if Cloakly is affecting your computer's performance.
Expected resource usage
Cloakly is designed to have minimal system impact. In normal use, it should consume less than 1% CPU and under 50 MB of RAM.
High CPU usage
If Cloakly is unexpectedly using high CPU, try reducing the number of simultaneously hidden windows, or restart the app. If the problem persists, report it to support with your system specs.
Slow window list refresh
If the Cloakly window list takes a long time to populate, it may be enumerating a large number of open processes. Closing unused apps will improve refresh speed.
Reporting performance issues
Contact support@cloakly.app with your Windows version, the number of windows you typically hide, and a description of what you are seeing.
