Deep link not opening Cloakly

Fix issues with the cloakly:// protocol link on the dashboard.

What is the deep link?

When you sign in at cloakly.app/dashboard, the site attempts to launch Cloakly on your desktop automatically using the cloakly:// protocol and pass your authentication token.

1. Make sure Cloakly is installed

The cloakly:// protocol is registered during installation. If Cloakly is not installed, or was installed in a non-standard way, the link will not work. Reinstall from the Microsoft Store.

2. Allow the browser prompt

Your browser will show a prompt asking whether to open the link in Cloakly. Click "Open" or "Allow". If you dismissed the prompt, refresh the page to trigger it again.

3. Use the Launch App button

If the automatic redirect fails, click the Launch App button on the dashboard to manually trigger the deep link.

4. Re-register the protocol handler

Uninstall and reinstall Cloakly from the Microsoft Store to re-register the cloakly:// protocol handler.
