App not launching
What to do if Cloakly won't open or crashes on start.
1. Check system requirements
Confirm you are running Windows 10 version 1903 or later on an x64 device.
2. Reinstall from the Microsoft Store
Open the Microsoft Store, find Cloakly, and click the three-dot menu → Uninstall. Then reinstall from the Store to get a clean copy.
3. Check for conflicting software
Some security software or VPNs can interfere with app launches. Try disabling them temporarily to see if Cloakly starts.
4. View the event log
Open Event Viewer (search in Start), navigate to Windows Logs → Application, and look for Cloakly errors. Share the error message with our support team.
